  Insignia debuts a new design language for Opel – as well as for the brands, including Saturn in the United States and Vauxhall in the UK, which rebadge the company’s models.


Looks pretty good. Do I see heavy Volkswagen influences?


  The Opel Insignia is a replacement for the Vectra, which was dropped by Holden in 2006 in favour of sourcing the cheaper mid-sized Epica from GM Daewoo in Korea.


Ah, the Epica. ‘Scuse me while I stifle a laugh. To quote a certain rally-driving interstate-visiting friend: “It’s pretty crap, but it does good handbrake turns”.
