The Australian Prime Minister, Tintin Kevin Rudd, and the newly appointed Australian Governor General, Quentin Bryce, today.

Addressing accusations of parochialism on the appointment of a Queenslander to the GG post, Queenslander Rudd said of Bryce


  “Well she’s spent a fair bit of her career in Sydney, but then again in Melbourne I suppose that’s another crime against humanity.”
